Chasing the Dream | BMW G68 with SlowRacinG at the Tianwang Car Appraisal Competition A Featured Showcase Vehicle at the 2026 APAxpo Foshan Auto Modification Expo

The 2026 APAxpo Foshan Auto Modification Expo presents the Tianwang Car Appraisal Competition, featuring a total prize pool of 100,000 RMB. Champions, runners-up, third-place winners, and the top 50 national finalists will all receive cash rewards and exclusive gifts. Rooted in the Greater Bay Area and covering the nation, APAxpo focuses on the modification vertical, inviting 5,000 stores nationwide to the 2026 expo while deeply cultivating the B-end ecosystem. It stands as the premier modification expo in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, boasting the richest variety of performance cars, JDM builds, sports cars, and itasha in China.

Among the competing vehicles, a BMW G68 from the SlowRacinG workshop stands out remarkably. The owner’s passion for automobiles was inspired by his father from an early age — at six, he was already simulating driving with an old steering wheel found at a recycling station. At sixteen, he moved to the United States, where he successively owned a BMW 650i, F82 M4, and E92 M3, discovering the unique romance of engines and mechanics through these legendary M Power models. Upon returning to China, he purchased a G68 5 Series, determined to continue his pursuit of driving passion on a family sedan, embracing the philosophy of balancing daily utility with sporty performance. In his leisure time, he navigates city streets and mountain passes, where crisp handling and solid chassis feedback cure all exhaustion.

This G68 is meticulously crafted: a full M5 body kit with Huitengda Shark Blue vinyl wrap delivers striking visual impact; Bilstein B16 unreleased coilovers, front AP 956X and rear electromechanical calipers with carbon-ceramic discs ensure precise braking; genuine BBS wheels with Leitden tires and Repose custom exhaust complete the performance foundation. The comprehensive carbon fiber treatment includes a custom carbon hood, CSL trunk lid, fenders, and Kabuer dry carbon rear wing, complemented by Venom taillights, self-developed seven-color LED headlights, and a custom carbon fiber grille. Airspeed intake and a fully carbonized engine bay further elevate performance. Inside, Recaro Podium and Recaro RMS seats, a 2500W custom audio system, M Sport steering wheel, and custom Momo shifter create a pure driving atmosphere, while a Xuntu roof cargo box balances utility with aesthetics. The full suite of 55Racing spherical bushings and control arms, Cusco reinforcement components, and G-lock LSD further solidifies the chassis.

The owner credits SlowRacinG founder VK for providing unique modification channels and aesthetic guidance, enabling his rapid integration into China’s modification culture. From KW to Bilstein, from AP Racing to Brembo GTR, and ultimately to full carbon fiber treatment — each refinement reflects his unwavering dedication to the perfect balance between comfort and performance. For him, car modification is never about flashy labels or blind trend-following — it is a passion and sanctuary in everyday life, where every adjustment represents a dialogue between driver and machine. APAxpo 2026 launches in Foshan this October, with comprehensive coverage of performance parts, wheels, coilovers, vehicle wraps, and new energy modifications. The Tianwang Car Appraisal Competition awaits this extraordinary G68 to shine on the grand stage.
