King’s Car Appraisal: Let Performance Decide

This year’s APAxpo proudly introduces the “King’s Car Appraisal” competition, with a total prize pool of RMB 100,000. Cash awards and exclusive gifts await the champion, runner-up, third-place finisher, and all Top 50 entries nationwide. Competing Entry: Caixin’s G82 M4

Caixin, founder of Donggan Automotive in Shenzhen, has entered the King’s Car Appraisal with his masterpiece — a G82 M4 that embodies his absolute pursuit of speed, handling, and lightweight engineering.

On the weight-reduction side, Caixin went through three sets of coilovers, three brake setups, and six wheel options before arriving at his final configuration. Carbon fiber now dominates virtually every corner of the car: coilovers, wheels, brakes, bodywork, rear seats, and centre console — not a single gram left on the table.

On the power side, Caixin is among the earliest adopters of S58 flex-fuel tuning in China. The competition spec: TTE1140 turbo paired with CARRILLO forged pistons and connecting rods, ARP hardware, CALICO coated bearings, ID1300X injectors, and an AFS low-pressure fuel pump — all governed by a dedicated MOTIV REFLEX ECU strategy. The standalone control logic means the engine remains protected even in the event of injector failure. With over RMB 1,000,000 invested, safety redundancy was non-negotiable.
